justnutsI ordered six Hot Rods last night. SIX! MWAHAHAHAHA.
Most of them will probably become guys like Prowl or Shockwave (oooo-- looking forward to sculpting him!) but I may keep a couple spares to be Optimus' idiot army. :)
Whenever I'm looking at Revoltech stuff on ebay, though, I keep coming across these guys:

And while I know nothing beyond "Patlabor is an anime, and maybe had some live action stuff???" .....really I don't think I know anything without looking it up... ANYWAY. I'm adoring those figurines. They're beautiful! And the same size as the TF revoltechs, which is really amazing quality. They've got such a range of movement! It makes me want to buy them and copy them for parts. *o*) ::grabby hands::
Updates on what I'm currently on: I did some work on stuff last night.
Ironhide:
Head = DONE
Chest = DONE
Torso = started
Legs/Arms/Feet = not yet started
Wheeljack:
Head = DONE
Chest = 85% done
nothing else started
I also had picked up some packs of Revoltech parts (So if you guys out there with these guys ever break or lose a joint - LET ME KNOW I've got spares I can send you!) for the smallest parts they sell to try my hands at sculpting one of these guys from scratch, to make a smaller-than-the-other-guys Bumblebee. :DDDD I sculpted the base for his chest, torso, forearms, and thighs last night and got his head mostly done. He's adorable!
