Seeker painting~~

justnutsI finally got around today to picking up paint for the two Revoltech Starscreams I bought to be turned into Thundercracker and Skywarp. :D
I found perfectly matching colors at the local nerd haven, Black Diamond Games. I picked up those paints usually used on Warhammer figurines, and so ended up with colors like: Fortress Grey, Blood Red, and Enchanted Blue. My favorite is Hormagaunt Purple.
However,I accidentally picked up Badab Black, which is a color wash, so I have to go back to get real black tomorrow. :T The color wash paint is awesome, though, so I'm keeping it.
After cooking and eating dinner with the girls, I invited Bolts to help me paint, and we chatted about her writings and about toys we wanted. I fetched the other Revoltech toys and we brainstormed how to turn a Hot Rod figurine into Ironhide or Wheeljack.
Her best idea, though, was to turn ouralbino Optimus Prime Ultra Magnus into a toy we'd actually care about: Shattered Glass Optimus Prime! ;D
