Shot myself in the foot with nerding
Sep. 18th, 2010 04:38 amWork was pretty cool tonight, overall. Got to give a dance to a dude with a tattoo of The Tick! :D He was awesome. I love working in silicon valley and it's hordes of nerds.
What was not so awesome is having a GREAT conversation with a transformers fan, one who even reads TF wiki!! who.... wouldn't get a dance from me. Seriously, I talked to this guy for half a freaking hour. And what does he say when I ask him for a dance? "I like you! You're too cool!" D:< WHAT. C'mon, dude, I'm like a nerd's wet dream over here! You're not going to get to date me, if that's what you're thinking. DX AUGH.
He said he'd come visit me next friday and promised a dance. Pfft. Like that ever happens.
It's really amazing sometimes that so many guys will take up a bajillion years of your time and not even give you five bucks for your effort. Dude, what part of "the club doesn't pay us and the only money I make is from you guys" don't you understand??
